Christmas is a magical time of year for all the family but in particular, the children! Are you committed, ready to work hard and be flexible to support the store with their busiest time of year? With a variation of shifts and contracts available, we have something to suit everyone who is looking to earn some extra money over Christmas, from till work to helping behind the scenes in ‘Santa’s Workshop’ we have lots to keep you busy.

Christmas Contracts & Hourly Rates

We offer very competitive hourly rates which vary from store to store.

There will be 12 hour contracts available and in some stores there will also be 20 hour contracts. As we get busier, we may also offer extra hours to our teams. Our 12 hour contracts are usually spilt into 3 x 4-hour shifts, with stores offering a mixture of daytime, evening and night shifts depending on location and trading hours. Night shift crew will start on either a 12 hour or 20 hour contract (depending on store) but go up to be on a 37.5-hour contract in the last few weeks in December.

Christmas Positions Available

Christmas Crew

You will be working primarily on the shop floor approaching and assisting customers, demonstrating toys, operating the tills, and making sure your store remains well presented. This will also involve getting stock on the shelves from our deliveries and stockrooms so our stores stay full and customers can find what they need easily. You will need great customer service skills and be passionate and confident about creating a magical shopping experience for all our customers.

Night Shift Crew

Many our stores operate night shifts to recover the sales floor and manage those big deliveries in time for Christmas! The exact times of these shifts will vary on a store by store basis but will involve working through the night and into the morning. You will need to be physically fit and possess plenty of initiative to work on a night shift team.
