Terms & Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to all UK residents aged between [4 – 10] except for anyone directly connected to the Promoter, their families or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw. Parents or guardians may enter on a child’s behalf and for those entrants under the age of 16, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim your prize.
2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary, however, internet access is required in order to enter the prize draw via www.thetoyshop.com/toy-tester-prize-draw
3. To enter, simply visit www.thetoyshop.com/toy-tester-prize-draw and complete the entry form.
4. The opening date for entries is Monday 6 November 2023. The closing date for entries is 23.59 on Monday 27 November 2023. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
5. Only one entry per person is permitted.
6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
7. There are 14 prizes to be won and 2 winners will be selected for each of the 7 following locations: Cardiff, Bullring, Derby, Manchester Arndale, Bromley Lower, Leeds Trinity and Cribbs Causeway.
8. Each winner’s prize is:
   - an out of hours toy testing session at The Entertainer store you have applied for on the morning of Saturday 9 December 2023 pre-opening;
   - a £50 The Entertainer gift card to spend in store or online; and
   - a surprise goodie bag.
9. No other costs or expenses such as travel to and from the venue, accommodation or refreshments are included with the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
10. The winners will be chosen by random draw performed by computer process from all valid entries. Winners will be notified by email using the information provided at entry within 24 hours of the end of the prize draw.
11. If the winners do not respond to the Promoter within 48 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
12. Failure to attend the event on 9th December 2023 will result in the winner forfeiting the prize. The Promotor does not accept any liability if you are not able to attend the prize.
13. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy here. See also condition 15 with regard to the announcement of winners.
14. No cash alternative will be offered and the prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
15. The winners agree to have their first name and photograph published on The Entertainer’s social media accounts and website and may also be used in other promotional activity without further payment to you.
16. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
17. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside of its reasonable control, without a liability to any entrants or third parties.
19. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
