Terms & Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to all UK residents except employees of the Promoter, their families or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw. Parents or guardians may enter on a child’s behalf and for those entrants under the age of 18, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim your prize.
2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary however internet access is required in order to enter the prize draw via https://www.thetoyshop.com/sonic-prize-draw
3. To enter, simply, visit https://www.thetoyshop.com/sonic-prize-draw and complete the entry form. You may only submit one entry per person per email address into this promotion and entries over the maximum number of entries will be void and will not be entered into this prize draw.
4. The opening date for entries is 09.00 on 7th November 2024. The closing date for entries is 23.59 on 4th December 2024. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
6. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 9th December 2025 ("Draw Date").
7. There will be one grand prize winner and the prize is a Sonic Cinema Party for you and up to 20 friends at your local Cineworld Cinema, including a drink and snack each, a goody bag.
8. The Prize Details:
   a. Unless otherwise stated the main prize offered is for 20 people attending the private screening together, one of whom must be aged 18 or over. Each person participating in the prize will be referred to in these terms as a “Participant”. Participants aged under 18, must have prior parental or guardian permission.
   b. The Prize is valid until 30th June 2025. The screening cannot take place during Christmas and New Year (24th December 2024 – 1st January 2025), Easter (18th April – 21st April 2025), Public Holidays, or local special events (i.e. sporting events). The screening must be completed by 30th June 2025. Extensions to the validity of the package will not be allowed unless first authorized by Cloud Nine.
   c. The Prize includes a private screening of Sonic 3 (the “Film”) for up to 20 people, at a choice of UK Odeon cinema (excluding central London cinemas), a soft drink or water and a popcorn per person (the “Prize”).
   d. The Film is subject to age limitations as set out by the British Board of Film Classification.
   e. The screening will take place in 2D only.
   f. All dates and locations are subject to availability.
   g. The Prize must be arranged a minimum of 6 weeks (42 days) in advance.
   h. The screening must be completed within the time-frame stated in these terms.
   i. Cloud Nine accepts no responsibility for any events beyond its reasonable control including the withdrawal of, or amendment to, any venues, activities, events or retail items. Cloud Nine will use its reasonable endeavours to supply suitable alternatives in such circumstances. No refund will be offered.
   j. This prize is non-transferable or exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer. There is no cash alternative or refund for any unused portions of the prize.
   k. In the event of cancellation by the winner, the Participants will not be entitled to claim any refund or replacement prize.
   l. Any amendments made by Participants after the booking is confirmed, to the extent permitted by Cloud Nine or the relevant third-party provider, will be subject to administration charges. Some changes may not be possible.
   m. All other costs and expenses in taking up the prize not set out in the stated prize description will be at the Participants’ expense, these include but are not limited to transfers to and from the UK cinema, additional food, drinks, personal expenses and any costs related to COVID-19 as set out below.
   n. Transport between home and the chosen cinema (and vice-versa) is the responsibility of the Participants.
   o. The screening is subject to the individual cinema’s terms and conditions. Participants must comply with such terms and conditions when taking up the prize and participating in the relevant activities.
   p. Should Participants wish to add additional items to the prize (additional Participants etc.) they may do so via Cloud Nine at an extra cost. Cloud Nine will advise the cost prior to booking. Cloud Nine will not enter into any discussions about cost comparison or rates sourced elsewhere. q. Travel insurance is not included in the Prize.
   r. It is the Participants’ responsibility to advise Cloud Nine of any circumstance that may prevent them from participating in any element of the prize, including but not limited to dietary requirements, medical conditions or personal circumstance. Participants should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to take part in any element of the prize, since interaction with the general public may increase the risk of exposure to COVID-19. By choosing to take part in any element of the prize, Participants acknowledge and agree that they accept any such risk associated with those elements of the prize.
   s. Participants are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / limitations required by the applicable local and national authorities and the relevant activity and (if applicable) transport providers, including in connection with COVID-19. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the Participants (where applicable).
   t. Participants are responsible for their behaviour and the behaviour of their guests whilst taking part in the prize. Cloud Nine reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude any Participant from participation in the prize or any part thereof if any Participant fails to comply with the directions of Cloud Nine, the venue, activity provider(s) or any company associated with the prize, or, if any Participant acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes disturbance or nuisance to others.
   u. Prizes are fulfilled by Cloud Nine Incentives (company no. 07342147), information about the prize provider can be found by visiting www.uponcloudnine.co.uk. Any personal data submitted by Participants to Cloud Nine will be treated in accordance with Cloud Nine’s privacy policy. 9. The winner will be contacted via the details provided at the time of entry within 1 week of the draw date. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter that they have won, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
11. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
12. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com (subject Sonic Prize Draw) or writes to Sonic Prize Draw, The Entertainer, TEAL House, Anglo Office Park, 67 White Lion Road, Amersham, Bucks HP7 9FB (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter before the closing date by emailing PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

15. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy here https://www.thetoyshop.com/privacy. See also condition 12 with regard to the announcement of winners and clauses 15 in relation to fulfilment of the prize.
16. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
