Terms & Conditions

1. This competition is open to all UK residents under the age of 13 except employees of the Promoter, their families or any third party directly associated with the administration of the competition. Parents or guardians may send in an entry on a child’s behalf and for all entrants under the age of 13, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim your prize.
2. The competition is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary however internet access is required should you choose to email in a photo or colour copy of your entry.
3. To enter, simply pick up a My Little Pony Competition form in-store or download it from our website. Add your design and email a photo or colour copy of your design together with the name and age of the child that is entering and contact details (email and phone number) to PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com;
4. The opening date for entries is 00:01 1st December 2022. The closing date for entries is 23:59 24th December 2022. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
5. The prizes (which are all to be awarded to one winner) are My Little Pony products (1 x MLP MUSICAL MANE MELODY, 1 x MLP IZZY MOONBOW A22, 1 x AND MLP, 1 x MV SCENES AST) to the total value of £75 GBP. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes with alternative prizes of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
6. There will be one overall winner, who will, in addition to the My Little Pony products, have their design included in an episode hosted on the My Little Pony Official YouTube Channel.
7. The winners will be selected on 4th January 2023 for having the best designs as chosen by a panel of 2 people from our head office together with an independent judge from Hasbro to assess the suitability of the design of those entries emailed to PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com.
8. Following the selection of the winners, a social media post may be placed showing the winning entries together with the winners’ first name and age.
9. Selected entries may be shared on social media without entrants’ names or ages being shared to promote further entries to the competition.
10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
11. The winners will be notified by email or by phone (using details provided at entry). If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified by the Promoter that they have won, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
12. The prize for the winners is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
14. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com or writes to My Little Pony Competition, TEAL House, Anglo Office Park, 67 White Lion Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP7 9FB. (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname and county, (or the child’s first name and age being posted in line with condition 8) being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by emailing PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
15. Copyright shall remain the property of the creator. By entering the competition you (or on behalf of the creator if applicable) give The Entertainer (Amersham) Limited and Hasbro, Inc. and its affiliates an irrevocable licence to reproduce, publish, modify, use and adapt the entry in any medium throughout the world in accordance with conditions 8 and 9 and without the need for further payment to you. If you are the overall winner, you will be required, with parent’s permission, to assign all transferable intellectual property rights such as copyright and design right in your My little Pony-design to Hasbro, Inc., and you must confirm this by signing an agreement of the assignment. The prize is subject to this assignment and the winner will be contacted with more information about this after their design has been selected.
16. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
18. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy here https://www.thetoyshop.com/privacy. See also condition 11 with regard to the announcement of winners. The Promoter will disclose the collected personal information related to the winners of the competition to its partner in this project, Hasbro, in order for them to fulfil the prizes. Hasbro will use the personal data only for this purpose and the data will be deleted after the prizes have been fulfilled. By participating in the competition, you consent to our and Hasbro’s handling of this personal data.
19. The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
20. The Promoter of this competition is The Entertainer (Amersham) Limited whose registered office is at TEAL House, Anglo Office Park, 67 White Lion Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire HP7 9FB.
