Terms & Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to all UK residents except employees of the Promoter, their families or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw. Parents or guardians may enter on a child's behalf and for those entrants under the age of 18, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim your prize.
2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary however internet access is required in order to enter the prize draw via www.thetoyshop.com/dm-prize-draw.
3. To enter, simply, visit www.thetoyshop.com/dm-prize-draw and complete the entry form.
4. The opening date for entries is 09.00 on 18th July 2024. The closing date for entries is 23.59 on 14th August 2024. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
6. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 24th June 2024 ("Draw Date").
7. There will be one grand prize winner who will receive the following prize:

   a) Prize package for 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old includes:

   b) Airfare: Return flights from London, UK to Paris, France

   c) Transfers: Return airport transfers from Paris airport to Yvelines accommodation and Paris accommodation

   d) 1 night’s luxury chateau accommodation in Yvelines, based on sharing a quadruple occupancy room, with breakfast.

   e) 3 nights’ luxury 4-star hotel accommodation in Paris, based on sharing a quadruple occupancy room, with breakfast.

   f) Private Karaoke Session at Chateau: (1 hour)

   g) Side-Car Tour: (1.5 hours) 2x people per vehicle with 1x driver/guide

   h) Laser Tag Battle: (1 hour)

8. Prize Details

   a) Prize is for 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old.

   b) The Recipients must travel at the same time with the same itinerary.

   c) At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over; Anyone under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel.

   d) Economy flights from major international airports in London only (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties) to Paris, France; Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion.

   e) Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and London departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s;

   f) A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation.

   g) Accommodation based on 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old sharing a quadruple occupancy room for one night in a chateau in Yvelines, France and a quadruple occupancy hotel room for 3 nights in Paris, France.

   h) Accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion.

   i) Accommodation for the Recipients does not include any meals, incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Recipients.

   j) The prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package.

   k) All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion.

   l) Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure.

   m) Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over.

   n) All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time.

   o) Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled.

   p) Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available.

   q) All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guest.

   r) The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 4th January (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday.

   s) Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time.

   t) The minimum age for the sidecar tour is 5 years old, it is not recommended for those who are pregnant.

   u) The martial arts class will be tailored to the participants’ abilities, participants should advise the instructor of any underlying health conditions or injuries prior to session.

   v) The minimum age for the escape room ‘heist challenge’ is 9 year old;

   w) Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel; The arrangement and additional costs for any COVID-19 related expenses that may be incurred are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest.

   x) The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/.

9. The Prize excludes meals, drinks, accommodation and travel costs, spending money or any other personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the Prize and set out above.
10. The winner will be contacted via the details provided at the time of entry. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified by the Promoter that they have won, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
13. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com (subject Despicable Me 4 Prize Draw) or writes to Despicable Me 4 Garfield Prize Draw, The Entertainer, TEAL House, Anglo Office Park, 67 White Lion Road, Amersham, Bucks HP7 9FB (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by emailing PlayIsNeverCancelled@theentertainer.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
14. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
16. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy here https://www.thetoyshop.com/privacy. See also condition 143 with regard to the announcement of winners and clauses 8 (x)16 and 107 in relation to fulfilment of the prize.
17. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
