Trampolines

Find your perfect trampoline in our range with sizes ranging from 4 ft up to 14 ft. Expect options for all ages, including junior and toddler trampolines, which can be placed indoors.

What size trampoline do I need?

Choosing the right size trampoline is key to the enjoyment your family get out of it. Most importantly, you need to think about how the size relates to the children (and adults!) it’s bought for. This is mostly about finding a size that’s right for their age but can also impact the amount of use your family get from it and the type of fun they can have with it.

Here’s a quick guide:

SizeBenefitsSuitable For
4 ftIdeal for getting little ones sused to bouncingToddlers
8 ftGood for smaller back gardensOne Child at a time
12 ftIdeal for most familiesMultiple children or adults
14 ftProvides room for more advanced trampoliningMultiple children or adults

More importantly, it's worth noting that 12 ft and 14 ft trampolines offer all the benefits of smaller trampolines and will stand the test of time as your little ones grow up.

8, 12 and 14 and 14 ft trampolines are, however, only suitable for 6+ years and are more expensive than their 4 ft and 8 ft counterparts. But with the right care and attention, they’ll last for years.

For your confidence, our 14 ft Plum Trampoline has up to a 5-year warranty. It’s even suitable for adults to use – perfect for parents who fancy a little cardio that’s easier on the knees than a lunchtime jog!

For children between 3 and 6 years of age, it’s best to opt for a 4 or 6 ft trampoline which will grant them the safety and security required to have fun and learn the skills required for a larger trampoline in future.

Finally, make sure you measure up your garden and have the space for your chosen size! You’ll want a little space on either side to ensure no bumped heads through the safety net.

How safe are trampolines?

While safety is of the utmost importance, we handle it all. So long as you choose a trampoline suitable for the age of those who plan to use it, you only really need to think where you place the trampoline and how you use it.

That’s because UK regulations require specific safety features and considerations. All our trampolines follow BS EN 13219:2001 and are backed by the Royal Society of the Prevention of Accidents.

“All commercial trampolines manufactured from 2001 should meet BS EN 13219:2001 Trampolines. Trampolines should also be compliant to the relatively new European Standard EN 71 – 14:2014 “Safety of toys – Trampolines for domestic use”

Beyond these standards, though, you’ll need to abide by further safety rules:

  • Ensure there is a clear, fall-safe zone of at least 2.5 metres from each edge of the trampoline
  • Always supervise children and those with limited experience of trampolines
  • Regularly assess the trampoline for defects (and remember to use your warranty if you require a replacement!).
  • Place the trampoline on soft springy ground, not a hard surface.
  • Encourage those using the trampoline to bounce from the centre

How long do trampolines last?

With the right care and attention, trampolines will last numerous years. For peace of mind, our larger trampolines all come with up to a 5 year warranty – which you can choose when purchasing – while junior and toddler trampolines warranties vary.

To make sure they last, ensure the springs are covered from adverse weather. You’ll also want to keep to the mentioned safety rules. This will ensure proper use of the trampoline and ensure it stands the test of time.

Are they weatherproof?

Trampolines, particularly those which are 8, 12 and 14 ft, are designed to remain outdoors and won’t require storing over winter or through poor weather. Clearly, though, the more you can protect your trampoline from rain and strong wind, the longer it will last. Firstly, make sure the edging is always fully covering the springs and then consider a full cover for when the trampoline isn’t in use.

Can adults use trampolines?

Absolutely, trampolines aren’t solely for kids! If you plan to use a trampoline for your own fun, or as a form of exercise, make sure it’s large enough – 12 ft and 14 ft trampolines are recommended.

Whether for fun or fitness, solo use, or to get all the kids outdoors through summer, a trampoline can be a wonderful addition to any backyard or garden.
