July 4th, Bring the Kids to Our Big Toy Vote Extravaganza!

On the 4th of July, we are hosting The Big Toy Vote, and we need your help to see who everyone’s favourite toy is most!

As many schools will be closed on this day, why not plan a trip to our stores to take part? Who will win your vote?

Will it be the fearless Dinosaurs, the wonderful Unicorns, the hardworking Trucks, or the mesmerising Mermaids?

Visit your local Entertainer store, read manifestos at the polling station, and cast your vote for your favourite toy! Across the day there will be fun in-store activities, hands-on demonstrations and maybe even a special character visit!

What to Expect In-store?

On the 4th of July, visit your local The Entertainer store and head to our polling station, there you will be able to see each toy candidate, what they have to offer, and make the important decision on who deserves your vote!

Drop off your vote in our ballot box and receive a special sticker for the candidate you have voted for. Be sure to take away one of our Big Toy Vote Competition Cards and scan the QR code to enter online for the chance to win a £100 prize bundle! Each candidate will have their own competition, this means there will be four lucky winners.

On the 4th of July between 11am and 3pm you will be able to enjoy and participate in some exciting demos with brands such as Pitter Patter Pets, Kinetic Sand, and remote control toys! You can also take home some activity sheets on the day and show off your colouring masterpieces with us on social media using #TheEntertainerVIP, we can’t wait to see your colourful designs.

Selected stores will also be visited by special costume characters for children to meet their favourite characters and get a photo, to find out who will be in your local store, check our Store Events page.

Be sure to pop into your local Entertainer store to be a part of the family fun day and enjoy fun-filled activities – it’s a one day only event!

Dinosaurs

“Greetings, young voters! I’m Rex the Dinosaur, and I’m here to roar into action and bring about change for all the reptilians and our fans alike. With my powerful jaws, mighty roar, and well cared for nails, I’m sure to be your favourite toy, all my dinosaur friends are courageous and have unimaginable strength. Let’s stomp out the boredom together with unlimited dinosaur toys and make every day a dino-mite adventure!”  

Unicorns  

“Hello, magical friends! I’m Sparkle the Unicorn, ready to bring you all endless joy, and unlimited glitter! You, get a glitter, and you get a glitter, and you,… you know where I am going with this. With me as your favourite, every day will be filled with rainbows, sunshine, sparkles, and dreams that I can make true for all the children with all the best Unicorn toys. Together, we can make the toy world a more colourful place!” 

Trucks 

“Howdy supporters, I’m Turbo the Truck, and I’m here to keep things in gear and moving in the right direction! I’ll be sure to pave the way for fun without using a GPS or Sat Nav, like the good ol’ days! I’m thinking of fun and keeping hard work in my rear-view mirrors, ensuring we all go the extra mile together with unlimited truck toys! Together kids, we can build a road to an exciting adventure with races, engines, car designs and so much more, so vote for me as your favourite!” 

Mermaids 

“Hi there, ocean explorers! I’m Marina the Mermaid, I am inviting you into an enchanting world deep in the ocean, where all kinds of sea-animals live, and a variety of secret castles lay! With a flowing tail and shimmering scales, Mermaid are sure to bring the magic of the sea to you. By voting me as your favourite toy, you’ll be making waves and the dolphins will be singing their beautiful tunes in celebration, join us in the land of Mermaid toys to be a part of the adventure!”
